> This site is not a law firm and cannot advise you on a ticket. For your own citation, contact the traffic clerk of the court named on it, or the DMV. If you want a lawyer, the lawyers page lists firms and questions to ask.

## What can this site not do?

The site is run by an editorial team, not a law firm. It cannot:

- Give legal advice.
- Tell you what to do with your citation.
- Contact a court for you.
- Look up your case.

## Who can help with your own ticket?

Your court's traffic clerk can tell you your due date and options. The [courts page](https://californiaticketlawyerhelp.com/courts/) lists contacts for four counties. If you want a lawyer, the [lawyers page](https://californiaticketlawyerhelp.com/lawyers/) lists firms and questions to ask.
